Fermentation is conducted under controlled conditions in 225-litre and 500-litre barrels made of French and Slavonian oak, and Slavonian black locust.
The wine is aged for nine months in barrels on its lees (sur lie).
Green hills of Požega valley were formed a long time ago by sinking of massive glaciers from the surrounding hills. A pleasant altitude of 200-330 m above the sea level, mainly southern exposure. And the characteristics continental climate, with a gradual transition from summer to autumn. With higher average autumn temperature than the temperature in spring makes it ideal for growing grapes. The Galić family has dealt with grape growing and wine production for generations but mainly for their personal use.
