Product Description

Coral Wine Bacco Felice is a Sangiovese-based blend, enhanced with small proportions of Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera. The nose is dominated with typical Chianti violets, followed by gamey aromas and sweet spices. High acidity works in harmony with velvety tannins, resulting in a pleasant Supertuscan wine.

About the Producer
Named after the mulberry trees that grow on the estate, Tenuta alla Moraia is based in Colli Aretini in Tuscany, with 11 hectares of vines, all renewed in 2002. Certified organic in 2009, they embarked further on a path of making wine in harmony with nature, and have began practicing biodynamic winemaking as well. Little to no mechanisation is used in the production process, with horses ploughing the soil and using geese for cleaning the vineyards. Once hand picked and sorted, the grapes are usually destemmed and crushed and undergo a slow fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging up to three years in tonneaux.
