The surface of this bar is moulded with a geometric relief of squares and stripes, and it breaks into neat pieces of milk chocolate sweetened with honey, the kind you can make last through a whole cup of coffee.

Vrsna Chocolates is a family chocolate maker run by the Reizl family in Sesvete, Croatia. Their food business began in 2002 and became Vrsna in 2017, and much of the work is still done by hand, from tempering and shaping to decorating and packing. They pair cocoa from around the world with Croatian ingredients such as honey, figs and lavender.

Expect the soft, rounded sweetness of milk chocolate with a gentle note of honey. Serve a few squares with espresso or black tea, or set them out with a cheese board and walnuts.

Vrsna Chocolates is a family chocolate maker founded by the Reizl family in Sesvete, Croatia, whose work in food began in 2002 and became Vrsna Chocolates in 2017.
