St. Heels is a dry rosé of Plavac Mali, the red grape of Dalmatia, and its label shows a silver high heel drawn with a bunch of grapes.
The grapes grow in the Sv. Lucija vineyard on Dingač, the celebrated Plavac Mali site of the Pelješac peninsula. Saints Hills was founded in 2006 by Ivana and Ernest Tolj, who built their Pelješac cellar in 2012 and named each of their vineyards after a saint.
The wine is made in a fresh, fruit led style and stays light at 12% alcohol.
Serve it chilled as an aperitif on a warm evening, or with grilled fish, seafood and summer salads.
