Product Description
Bianca Bellezza is an intense, green and fresh oil, with freshly cut grass, tomato leaf and fresh almond on the nose.
It is pressed from Bianchera, an indigenous variety, grown by Mate between Punta Salvore and Daila on the northwest tip of Istria. Mate Vekić planted his first olive tree there at 75, just before the new millennium, and built a mill facing the sea. This organic oil comes from olives harvested between 4 and 14 October 2025.
The first taste is gentle, then a firm, persistent bitterness and pepperiness arrive in fine balance, leaving almond, cut grass, chilli and artichoke behind.
That clear, decisive character stands up well to grilled fish and meat, and a thread of it over a bowl of soup is just as good.
