Krauthaker CHARDONNAY ROSENBERG
Complex, with plenty of freshness and fruity aromas supported by spice overtones, albeit measured and exquisitely pronounced, this is Krauthaker CHARDONNAY ROSENBERG. Matured substantially in oak – barrique is used precisely to achieve the greater complexity – and partly in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness and fruitiness.
It is of brighter, vibrant straw-yellow colour with gentle greenish hue, (at first) relatively discrete on the nose, bouquet hinting at white home-grown drupes and a trace of citruses intertwined with threads of vanilla and lemon peel, a touch of wood and smoke. Proves very vibrant on the palate, with good acidity combined with entirely mild delectability, nicely creamy and rounded, warm, with solid body and fruity and vibrant finish lasting considerably, retro-nasal with a nuance of smoke. The wine may still mature successfully.
Serve in a larger and broad glass at temperatures of approximately 13 to 14 degrees Centigrade, accompanied with oven roasted fish, brodetto, roast veal, veal and/or lamb roasted under a baking lid.

Vlado Krauthaker, BE Agronomy and oenologist, owner of Krauthaker Vineyards and Winery, contributes to rich winegrowing and winemaking tradition of Kutjevo region. At the time of its founding, the winery owned 1 hectare of vineyards, however by 2020, the winery became owner of 45 hectares of vineyards. The winery operates additional 65 hectares of third party owned vineyards.A particular attention is paid to indigenous Welschriesling variety – Chardonnay, which is frequently awarded gold medals at fairs and wine exhibitions. We would like to emphasize environmentally friendly winegrowing and constant quality as a major principle of our production.Quality and success of our wines is best described by numerous medals received at globally renowned wine competitions and tastings.
