It comes from Fjori Fôra, the herb business of the Ćurin family in Gdinj on the island of Hvar, where the family have grown lavender and other aromatic herbs since 1955. The tin is labelled BIO and carries the words za svaki recept, for every recipe.
The producer describes a broad, rich range of aromas and flavours, drawn out by an organic production process that frees the natural essential oils in the herbs.
Use it in soups and starters, rub it into meat before roasting, scatter it over potatoes and vegetables, or stir a pinch into a salad dressing. A tin also makes a light, easy gift.
