The vines for Grabar grow in deep red terra rossa at Bosco Grando, a couple of kilometres from the sea. It blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged in wood.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eExpect ripe dark fruit carried on a solid, well-knit structure, with the oak folded in rather than sitting on top. At 14% it has real weight, and the tannins suggest it will keep.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eServe it with red meat, game, or a mature hard cheese, ideally decanted.
