It grew out of the Milena family tavern, opened in 1986, where the white cod was so popular that guests began taking it home, and in 1996 the family built its first processing plant.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eExpect the mild, savoury taste of cod with the earthy depth of truffle. Serve it on warm crostini as an aperitivo, or stir a spoonful through hot pasta or soft polenta.
