Trdenic Škrlet Private Collection is an extraordinary reflection of the terroir, this mature Škrlet best shows all the opulence and potential of the variety. It has a transparent greenish-yellow color, it spins cheerfully in the glass and already at first glance it reveals the fluffiness and liveliness of this wine, with a pronounced clean aroma and completely openly points us to the varietal characteristics of Škrlet. Intoxicating meadow floral scents outline the character, while the fresh part of the scent spectrum appears through aromas of citrus and white fruit, primarily pear, and in the finale come nutty scents with a decent admixture of linden honey. On the palate, the sensation of citrus and white fruit continues, but now much more mature, and the pronounced but pleasant freshness perfectly cleanses the palate. Light creaminess, accentuated extractiveness and moderate alcohol point us to a serious wine, which also tells us with its structure that it is a classic example of Škrlet.
