Prelac Muskat Momjanski

In the northwestern part of Istria, on the hilly slopes of upper Bujština, lies the medieval town of Momjan. Once dominant in ancient times, it has left behind a rich heritage for all of us who live here and for those who visit, explore, and enjoy its abundance. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the Alps, Momjan is a destination that must be visited and experienced. A stay here offers a lasting and unique atmosphere. The must-visit spots of Momjan’s region are our wineries and taverns, which make this landscape even more fascinating and inviting. That’s why, around twenty years ago, we founded the family winery Prelac. From that moment, our future became clear and unquestionable – to serve the land, the vineyards, and the olives, honoring everything we inherited from our ancestors. We have nurtured indigenous wines to the highest quality, wines we take pride in today: Malvasia, Refosco, and Momjan Muscat. On our land, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay have also found a home, and we have taken the best from them. To satisfy even the most demanding palates, we embarked on an adventure of sparkling wine production. But our wine story doesn’t end there. Carefully selected and hand-picked grapes have brought remarkable results to our Refosco rosé, completing our wine collection with yet another outstanding creation.
