Jagunic la Bulle Rose

Jagunic la Bulle Rose with the varieties Portuguese 80% and Pinot Noir 20%. Light pink. Fine and persistent pearling.

Rose sparkling wine is vinified with the traditional champagne method and is a kind of homage to the Jagunić Portugiscu family, a variety that has been traditionally grown on Plešivica for centuries. Accentuated aromas of berries, which is a variety of Portugisca on the one hand, but also a noticeable finesse, gentle strength and complexity that on the other hand achieves Pinot Noir. Optimal aging on yeast (19 months) affects the ideal balance between freshness, yeast tones (toast) and a slight residue of sugar. Ideal in the summer months.

Special Sparkling wine for sweet moments.

About the Producer
Since olden times, Plešivica is known as the almost perfect place for winegrowing.

It is a combination of several factors: slope (inclination), their exposure to the cardinal directions (exposition), soil type (soil features), wind exposure, climatic conditions etc.

The positions of our vineyards are carefully selected, according to the variety and soil, and they are one of the best that Plešivica could give on it’s widely known ‘amphitheaters’.

The current six varieties are grown on eight locations, and all of these are very close to vinery in order to shorten the time between harvesting and processing of grapes. This ensures the excellent raw material. Vision is what drives us, so we already create our future wines in early spring in vineyards.

Wines age in a wooden barrels (croatian: sudi), more than a half century old. We approach them individually by adapting technology, we listen to them, we keep an eye on their aging and decide when these wines are ready for market. Possibilities are endless, imagination is the limit!
